PG&E Wildfire Safety Open House

PG&E is holding an open house on Wednesday, June 5, to provide information about its Community Wildfire Safety Program (CWSP).  Drop-in hours are between 6 and 8 p.m. at the Best Western PLUS Sonora Oaks Hotel and Conference Center Oak Glenn Room.  The hotel is located at 19551 Hess Avenue (at Hess Avenue and Mono Way) in Sonora.

PG&E representatives will provide information about wildfire safety and emergency preparedness.  According to PG&E, topics will include:

  • Public safety power shutoff.
  • Enhanced vegetation around power lines.
  • Hardening the electric system for the future.
  • Accelerated safety inspections and repairs of electric  infrastructure.
